Keep off the grass

I'm not big on yard work. Or the great outdoors. (Unless I'm running through the great outdoors.) Especially this time of year. I suffer from a pretty severe grass allergy. After a quick walk through my neighborhood last night, my eyes swelled up like balloons and I couldn't stop sneezing. Fun times.

What makes this more exciting is that I'm starting a new job today. As a hot mess. At least I won't have to worry about what I say. No one will be listening to me. They'll be gawking at my freakishly puffed out eyes.

I'm new to this allergy game. It has only been in the past few years where I've had any issues. Dear readers, what can I do to make this sneezing, sniffling, and swelling stop? Besides take allergy medicine?

  1. Nettle is supposed to be a good natural treatment, though I wouldn't be surprised if you're allergic to it, too! I've never tried it. Good ol' OTC Claritin works for me, so I stick with it :)
