Adventures in cooking - broccoli pasta
Every Sunday my boyfriend and I attempt to make ourselves a nice Sunday dinner. That normally entails him cooking some huge meaty thing and me making some random sides. Last night, I attempted to make Kraft's Creamy Chicken Pasta Bake minus the chicken. And the chicken stock, obviously. I have to say, I think it turned out pretty well. I added a lot of minced garlic to the sauce. That gave it a good kick. The broccoli really absorbed the flavor. I do think it was a little too cheesy for my liking. If I make it again, I'll cut down the amount of cheese that I use. Who needs extra calories when it doesn't add to the recipe, right?
