Vegan Thanksgiving Wine Dinner at Bistro 185

I'm a big fan of Bistro 185's vegan night.  Once a month they feature an amazing vegan entree created by one of Cleveland's great vegan chefs - Jakub Mejstrik. They typically feature a couple vegan appetizers and a dessert to round out the dinner package, and I can honestly say that I've been super impressed with all of the meals I've gotten. (although I think last month's Oktoberfest themed meal was my favorite!)

This month, instead of offering a regular meal, Bistro 185 is hosting a Thanksgiving wine dinner, featuring some amazing sounding food:

FIRST COURSE
Chestnut Soup

SECOND COURSE
Spiced Apple Cider Glazed Supreme of Gardein
Herbed Polenta Cake
Saute of Shoestring Vegetables

THIRD COURSE
Field Greens with Roasted Pumpkin Seeds, Pomegranate Seeds and Oranges
Blood Orange Vinaigrette

FOURTH COURSE
Quinoa and Apple Stuffed Acorn Squash

FIFTH COURSE (DESSERT)
Pumpkin Creme Brulee

I'm hungry just thinking about attending this dinner.  It's a smidge pricy - $55 per person - not including gratuity or tax - but I'll gladly pay that price to support a local vegan chef and a restaurant that supports veganism.  If you're interested in attending, call Bistro 185 at 216-481-9635 to reserve your spot.  I'll see you there!
