And I managed to not have to watch one single second of sports. Score!
My mother and I successfully walked our first half-marathon at the Cleveland Clinic River Run. We finished in 3:37 - not bad considering that we hadn't really trained and made a couple stops.
I didn't expect to be quite so sore, though. When I run in a half-marathon next month (Columbus or BUST), I'll be sure to do all of the things I should have done after the race - like eat, drink water, stretch out every part of my body.
