I know that most "healthy eaters" aren't fans of the Lean Cuisine family of foods due to the amount of sodium they contain, but I have to say that as a person "on the go" and often times lazy when it comes to cooking, it's nice to have a Lean Cuisine stashed in the freezer for a quick lunch or dinner. I went to grad school with a Stouffer's dietitian, and she claimed that the company as a whole as been really trying to make healthy foods for the masses, and I believe that to be true, for the most part.
Lean Cuisine recently reintroduced its Angel Hair Pomodoro "One Dish Favorites" product and I really, really like it. Unlike some of the other pasta and sauce varieties of Lean Cuisine that I've tried, this one 1. tastes better and 2. has less calories and 3. tastes especially good when it's over-cooked in the microwave. (I like over-cooked foods, remember?) With only 5 grams of fat and 250 calories, this little frozen gem is pretty filling. I'm not a sodium watcher, but it does have 620 milligrams in one serving. Everything is ok in moderation, right?
