Alice in Wonderland
Last night I had the opportunity to go to Kevin's Martini Bar at Pickwick and Frolic for a Cleveland Professional 2030 Club event. I'd been to Pickwick and Frolic before for a work event and had a good time, but I hadn't really spent much time in the bar area. My last visit was centered more around a comedy show at Hillarities and a buffet dinner. It was sort of odd because there was bar seating that was lowered, so if you stood next to the bar, you towered over people. Due to the design of the bar, there were lots of nooks and crannies for people to sit/hide in so I don't think it was the best place to network...

Watch out for the 5-0
In Cleveland, when there's a sign that says something like, "no parking until 6:30," you'd better believe it. I was at the Bier Markt for a Cleveland Professional 2030 Club meeting last night and saw car after car in front of the bar get ticketed. D'oh! There weren't all that many people at the Bier Markt, which made it a great place to have a meeting. It was a stark contrast to how it normally looks later in the evening. Although just like later in the evening, one of the locals made a crude comment to me on my way to the car.
